What is the rule on the grace period for renewal of existing CGHS cards? What if the mentioner forgot to renew the card within the grace period? Whom to approach to renew CGHS card that expired before few months? Can you provide me links to government circulars or letters with respect to these rules?

Sir, My father is a CGHS Card holder and is suffering from Prostate Cancer. So for treatment we took him to Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital in Rohini, as this hospital is under empanelled Hospitals list. But there we were asked to submit 3.5 lakhs cash for treatment and told that we should reimburse it from CGHS later on. Is this the procedure or treatment should have been done cashlessly by the Hospital itself. Please reply.

Dear sir,i m rajesh jain ,wrking in ghaziabad post office.band 4200=00,residing wd my dependent parents arround 78 yr,res. 5 klomtr away from d cghs dispensary,paying regular mthly subscription and not aviling card facility-as i reside 5 km away and getting medical facility from cghs impanneled "yashoda hospital nehru nagar- 300 mtr away from my house.on my mr claim bills, the sanction office not sanctioning the medicine cost-purchased from d market and prescribed by d hospital.
kindly reply me whether i m entitled to get d cost of medicines or not,also inform d order no vide which d beneficiary residing beyond 3 kmt.can avail d facility from d any impaneled private hospital.
