don't get worried, i have posted my condition as male24. He will be able to resume to all normal activities within 3 to 4 weeks at most. My testicle now gets significantly reduced still not to normal size but close to it and the condition is becoming better day by day.

My boyfriend has a softball sized hyrdocele. He has had difficulty keeping a job due to discomfort and sometimes pain from the weight of it. He has even had to bring a doctor's release to say it is okay on multiple occasions. It is so large that is tremendously obvious no matter what he wears. Because of the inability to keep a job, he has no insurance. He has been to the ER with the pain, but they say it is not an emergent condition. How large does it have to become before it is emergent and is there truly no complication to having it? I mean, if someone kicked him there, would it bust and if so, then what??? I am being serious.

tell him to go into emerge and really really milk it with some good acting. I just had mine done and it can get serious if the testicle twists and causes cut off blood flow to the testicle. than he will lose it.

If your boyfriend is in the right percentile for finical assistance you can check with your local hospital to find out then he could have this done with out having to pay. That may help him out.

Had the operation on 6/18/2012. Left testicle was the size of a large grapefruit which continued to grow larger over the past 12 months. No real pain during this time but very uncomfortable. Finally got the courage to do something about it. Surgery was on a day basis in hospital, and only took half an hour. Next day very sore throat due to pipe down throat during surgery, lasted for three days. No pain and have not taken any painkillers since. It is now day ten and stiches have not dissolved as yet. Was a four inch incision with 10 stiches. Swelling has significantly reduced, sleeping on side with pillow between knees and back to work in another 4days. Overall not too bad however I am happy I took the full two weeks to recover. [age 63]

Hearing the complication and pain of surgery [jaboulay's procedure] Ive decided to drain the liquid with a needle. So i bought a 20 ml syringe and 20 gauge needle. As soon as i inserted the needle in the hydrocele sack and try to suck the liquid in the syringe, nothing happned. It feels like the piston of the syringe is very tight. I thought the liquid can be drained very easily in the syringe.
