Have you tried taking a fish oil supplement? They are proven to help reduce symptoms related to depression and low moods. I took one called O3mega+ joy and it works. Do you need more help?

The natural method for beating depression is keeping yourself busy in doing the work you enjoy the most doing for example playing games, jogging, and reading. If you feel lazy to exert yurself then indoor games or reading books would be good. Any activity or passion a person has should be done when you feel depressed.
The major cause of depression could be either you are being ignored by the people at home or in your social circle. Every human being expects or deserves an amount of pampering at every stage of life and if they dont get the attention or pampering from their surrondings they become depressed. The best remedy for this is to keep yourself busy in your life as much as possible.

Depending on how severe my depression I feel there are no other options besides medication or just living with it. My depression is very cyclic that makes medication sort of a hit or miss solution. It also takes long for the medication to act and long for it to act on my brain. I wish I had some better advice. Maybe a good doctor could help.
