I really want Indian government to approve this proposal of six months maternity leaves. Because in the whole world no one can care a child as good as a mother and specially a newly born. A newly born baby is totally depend on his mother for feeding and other things. Also, there should not be any discrimination in government and private sector as maternity issue is same at all.

Pls take up this matter to increase maternity leave from 3 months to 6 months

i wanted to know about the time of taking the maternity leave. can a mother take the 6month contineous leave after giving birth the baby and is she eligeble to get the full salary?
