Is there any update on this as this was posted in Oct 2007 now its 2008 and yet Federal Govt has taken no action?

Indeed it would be very helpful to working women as well as to the growing baby for its needs to be attended.
Is the law amended or not?Any updates on this.

the female anatomy and physiology[hormones] are made for making the baby and rearing it; and so her place is at home,and gather food and fuel.but during the ages, she is being made to work outside the home for the family survival. so a maternity leave of 3 mos before and 9 mos after delivery will give a fine baby and a healthy mother. assuming that the olden a baby a year is forgotten.
