In March 2012, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Since that time I have been taking Neomarcazole , starting with 40mgs per day, then 15mgs and now down to 5mgs. I last saw the specialist at the beginning of September and told him that for several weeks I had been experiencing pain in my legs. He did not explain whether this was a side-effect of the medication and I have assumed from reading about Neomercazole, that the pain I am experiencing in my muscles is myopathy. The pain varies in intensity and comes and goes but is often there at night and stops me from sleeping. Before I contact the specialist again, I would like to know whether myopathy is dangerous in any way? would it be harmful to continue as I am for another five weeks which is my next appointment with the specialist? Also, when I, hopefully, stop taking Neomercazole, will damage have been done to my muscles that cannot be repaired? I am English and live in France and all consultations are with doctors who do not speak English, so I would appreciate, for once, having some answers in my own langugage.

I have had uti's for 3 years. 2 years ago I had a bladder sling inserted by urogolist that told me that would cure my problem. 2 years later I'm still have uti's, I'm always on antiobiotics, every culture comes back negative & know my new urogolist says I have a enlarged bladder which he says first uro should have caught that when I had the urodymantic test. Now he wants me to cath but with my constant uti's I don't think that is a good idea. I have been on Bactrim, Cipro, Macrobid & augmentin. My last ua showed blood, protein & white cells I don't know what to do could you please give me some advice. Also sex is not an option since the sling was inserted. Please help me.

In respect of foreign travel medical insurance, is it obligatory that even at the inception of the contract that there should be mutual agreement for settlement on cashless basis? Is it not expected in all foreign travel mediclaim policies the insurer undertakes to directly pay the hospital on cashless basis in foreign currency in respect of a policy issued in Indian soil? Is there any case law on this issue? whether a consumer forum in India can insist that a claim against insurer for deficiency could be insisted only upon payment of the hospital charges by the patient / insured to the hospital before hand?
