My Father (67) and Mother (59) were having a mediclaim policy since 2001 and till 2005 they by grace of God being healthy never had a claim. Then in 2006 came ICICI Lombard with a policy for J&K govt employees past and present in partnership with J&K Bank, the premimum was unbeleievingly low and the coverage was more than mediclaim. Despite my warning to my Dad that this is too good to be true, Dad lapsed the mediclaim policy and signed with ICICI. As expected , ICICI didnt renew the policy next year and since last 2 years + , my aging parents are without a medical insurance. I am an NRI and not available to find a provider. Is there a provider in India who are offering medical insurance to people of age 67? My Mom is only 59 and I am sure she will get a cover.

Please folks help me out on this so that I can buy a policy for them soon.
