I am covered by MEDICLAIM insurance of G I C thro its subsidiary UNITED INDIA to the extent of Rs 1 lakhs. i have not availed the reimburesement during the current insurance year. i intend to have my operated for cataract with an approved doctor in an approved hospital, 0n "Pay Now and claim from TPA later" basis. The expenditure is approximately
Rs25,000/=. Pl clarify whether the entire expenditure would be reimbursed

Expenses for the treatment of Catarct is covered after two years of uninterrpted policy to the extent of actual or 25 of sum insured which ever is less.
