My friend informed me that her five year old son has chicken pocks after I allowed my 5 year old daughter stayed for few hours of play time while my husband and I christmas shop. We had our 19month son with us. One week later she showing signs of chicken pox. How long would I notice before son gets it. I never had chicken poks either. What do I need to do?

My sister has just been told she has got chickenpox, and i read that you can catch the virus by being in the same room as her. i have never had chickenpox before and i also have a five month old baby, i was just wondering how effective the virus will be on such a young baby.
