Hi,
I have 15 days baby. My milk is not very dense and looks watery. Is it not giving my baby enough nutrition? Please suggest.

mothers milk is light, baby =digests it soon then formula milk, and thus needs mothers milk again and again. it is a healthy sign. DO NOT shift the child to formula milk please. Internet is full of info about the benefits of breastfeeding. it may take some time to increase the quantity of milk by good diet. mothers milk is enough if after a feed child sleeps happily. mothers milk not only fills the baby tummy but also attaches the child to mother emotionally. this emotional attachment is a life time asset to the child. DO NOT deprive the child of this attachment. PLEASE

in hot weathers and months like jun july, dehydration is common, esp for feeding mothers. try to increase the intake of liquid. i experienced the same recently, but i took more milk, juices, lemonade , yougurt etc. more liquid more breast milk. do not go to the formula milk. try to feed more and more, else milk production will quicky decline...
