hii...i had my period last on 13th jan'11...i had sex in 21th jan'11...n i did nt hav my periods yet[today is 10th feb'11]...is dere ne chance dat im pregnent??? if yes den wat shud i do to control???

The third way the pill works in the above description is incorrect. The pill prevents a FERTILZED egg [embryo, new human being] from implanting in the uterus. Thus, the pill can act to cause a spontaneous abortion.

Hello, I am from Chennai in India.My name is Supriya and I am in my twenties and am planning to have sex for the first time with my boyfriend. I would like to know, which brand of birth control pill is the most effective? Saheli or Arpan? I want to know about how exactly to use the pill, when to take them .I really want to be safe and hope someone, an older woman can answer me. I also want to know where to but the birth control pills in Chennai. Will any pharmacy like Apollo pharmacy carry them? Please answer.Thank you.

Hello i am from Kolkata and in the first month of my wedding i concieved,however we didnt wanted it so we went for abortion with contraceptive pills mifepristone. Now i am perfectly fine. but just wanted to know will this effect to my future pregnancy? will i be able to concieve normally? Please advice. if not also then what i have to do?

Mifepristone is a pill that acts against the hormone Progesterone. progesterone is required for the baby to stay attached to the womb. In abortion, for time being we cut the progesterone with mifepristone so the foetus detaches and comes out. Since it's a one time affair in your case, you can normally conceive in the future. A. M. Hello ! First Time i started using pills from 7th day [1 July] of my period. i had sex after 5th (5 July) days. is there any chance to concieve?
