Atkins Diet

The Atkins diet is a controversial low-carbohydrate diet that is supposed to help people lose weight by forcing their bodies to burn fat – instead of carbohydrates – for energy. People on an Atkins diet cut down on carbohydrates, but they are allowed to eat high-fat foods that most health care professionals tell people to avoid.

Is it effective

I heard that Atkins diet is good for losing weight. Is it so. Infact the article went on to say that you can eat good food and not cut down on the food intake and yet lose weight. Anyone has tried this Atkins diet. Infact on eating this diet I heard you will amazingly feel physically and mentally energetic . Can anyone share their experience on this.

Atkins is great!!! I amdoing it again because I just had a baby. The first time I did it I lost 42 lbs in 6 weeks. In the 2 weeks that I've been back on it I have lost 18 lbs, Nothing else worked for me. I would lose and gain 10lbs more than I lost. This is the best ever!!! If you check the website recipes it gives you recipes by phase and there are so many options that it would be hard not to stick with it. I love it!
