I am a Lymphoma pt. in remission keeping my immune system in normal range first with large amounts Vit. D which has increased my immune system from 3 to 5.2. Labs are drawn every 2 months so this is documented evidence not here say. After taking probiotic capsules for 2 months, 1.5 billion, 2 capsules daily and continuing on same Vit D regimen my Vit. D reduced to 37 however my WBC increased 2 points. Labs have been drawn every two months for past three years due to my lymphoma, so the only time my Vit D level went down was after taking two months of probiotics. Majority of doctors are uneducated in the field of Vit. and minerals but an apothecary pharmacist that also deals in homeopathic products was able to tell me that the probiotics will use the Vit. D. The important thing here is that since majority of population is Vit. D deficient we can't afford to not know that probiotics will in fact in some people lower the Vit. D. level. I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2010 when my immune system was 3.0 for 4 years and no doctor, including major medical centers could tell me why or what to do. It has now been proven that the Vit. D def. destroyed my immune system that allowed lymphoma to come in the front door. Please remember this can be verified with 3 years of lab results every 2 months. Please review this again when you state probiotics can boost Vit. D levels. Thanks Diane, Registered nurse.
