How high is high
jdohe 2 Posts Hi, I am a 43 year old male. For the past 2 weeks, my average blood pressure has been 145/90 even after taking Benzapril. Today, my BP shot up to 160/120, mainly due to confrontation with someone who lied to me. Also, I have been feeling very sleepy and I am unable to stay up more than a few hours each time. How dangerous is my condition? I assume that is related to the high BP?

My blood pressure hit a new high today. 174/126!

You need to go to the doctor ASAP! Especially if this is something that's unusual for your body. Here's a quick BP reference chart.
