by the time medical students finish MBBS, they are approx 23 yrs old. adding 2 more yrs would mean 25yrs n then 3 yrs of PG that makes it 28 yrs and another 2 yrs of lecturer/registrar/observers etc posts to get hands-on experience. so it will be 30yrs by the time they start their private practice and later if they go in for superspecialisation. when will they settle in their private and professional life and actually start earning?
