Where I work as a nurse it is a very simple proceedure. If you are caught being rude to a patient or if a pateint complains about you and it is determined that you have not been considerate, or if you used abusive language you are fired. Period. Finished. Out of here. I have seen several employees go due to this including nurses and nursing assistants. What do we as a teem think? We are glad to be rid of them. In my opinion if nurses treat patients like that they are likley falling short in other areas also.
