I hope this really is the gene, I have a son with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome who is 19 years old, it would be wonderful to know future children will not have to go thru what he has just to live.

I have a 2 year old son with Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. It would be amazing to actually find the cause of this horrible thing. To know other babies might not have to be put through all the pain and suffering would be an amazing feeling!

My son has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome he is 3. I know I was beating my self up when he was born with this what did I do how could this happen?? It would be a great thing to some how prevent this defect with out playing god!!! We did not know until he was born and started to have promblems and it was 2 medavact trips and a lot of stress!! I would not change any thing because it makes us who we all are today!!
