So what? AIDS is prevalent at a place where human congregation is there and people are indulgent.Tirumala is no exception.Consider any olympic games or any world cup venue, where large people gather, the prostitutes(male and female) make their presence even before spectators arrive.Let us worry more about the prevention of the disease rather than the place.

It is good to find out the source of the infection, it will be all the more better to take measures to prevent the spread of infection than to talk about the place only.

it is very sad to listen this news even da official should be cautious to give scurrilous remarks on the world famous temple.
i donot agree with the derogatory statement given by media persons that it is home of ***** no of sex workers.
finally, they have to scrutinize the information very carefully before making it public.

There are two issues- one act of sex itself and the second 'sex workers' operating in a sacred place like Tirupathi. Sex spares no one - it is as much a part of human activity as eating. The sex workers usually opearte in any area that has many tourist be it venues of world cup, Olympics or holiday resort. What is important is to investigate rather than giving knee jerk reactions like some of the comments in the report and on this page. If they are operating quietly it is unlikely that the Devasthan officials will know about. Also remember Chitoor is not too far from Tirupathi and the sex workers can be living in Chitoor and still servicing clients in Tirupathi.

I agree with Sunny. We must look at the situation rather rationally and see the root of the matter. Obviously this is not taking place within the temple itself and the devasthan official would not know or care about the issue.
