im a physiotherapist working with many muscular dystrophy patients who have undergone stem cell therapy at neurogen brain and spine institute , these patients have shown significant improvement in terms of muscle power,endurance and many have gained functional independence. DMD patients are also showing marked improvement . we have a patient aged 26 years who has undergone stem cells and has shown muscle regeneration and has started swolling liquids , and can be without ventillator for 1 hour.

Hi Kusboo, its amanda here from new zealand, i have been currentlty been talk to my friend via facebook, He has got Muscular Dystrophy.. he has been living for 15 years with out any cure.. the doctors where he is from have told them there is no cure for it... and im upset for this..i have read over your comment and i was wondering what do you think about this ? he has been crawling because he cant walk, it is very hard for him to manage...in his leg :[

Hello to all the people who are suffering from MD, I was diagnosed with the problem around 7 yrs back.
I have discussed the situation with many english medicine doctor who told be no cure and It would worsen with the age
I started taking Ayurvedic treatment from government ayurvedic hospital, Bangalore. My situation w.r.t muscular growth and strengthening, As per doctors there expected to obtain normal muscular growth soon. I do most activities like swimming, jogging, walking, driving and climbing steps. I would surely recommend ayurvedic treatment[the medicine would cost 2k-3k per month] with yoga for all MD patients.
