I have been following c/o post CHIK arthritis, and many of them about 40% to 50%,are either CRP or RA Factor poistive, and many of them have good response to depo preparation of Methyl prednisolone

Arthritis,fibromyositis, which appears to be reactive,immunogenic in nature is still troubling persons who were affected by Chikungunya virus infection.Even after about 6months post infection, the pain continues to hang on. NSAIDs and steroids are providing only a temporary relief.Even Chloroquine seems to have a very limited effect on the course of arthritis/arthralgia. If anybody has found a better way to tackle the pains,please let me know!
