iam 33 years old and get diabet in 23 years ago.can use cell transplant for cure this desease in diabetes type 2 and what country do this work please, send hospital address if it possible.

This article is Dated 7 Feb 2006. It is now May 10, 2009. Where is this cure? Who is sitting on this cure? What Pharmaceutical Company bought this Research and kept it under wraps. I, Martha J. Rowe, am a Type II Diabetic and I want this treatment now!! Where is it?

I was on a combo therapy of Lantus and Novorapid for about 6 months but it did me no good. So I would like to comment to Bharath10.
stem cell infusion is the cure of the future. So if you can afford it have it done.
If you do have a familial history of diabetics, allogeneic Stem cell infusion is the best because it would carry the genes of your forefathers which would not create havoc as your system ages. Global Hospital in Bangalore has embarked on this treatment.

I am 69 years old, and have diabetes 2. I have had it for about 3 years.
I am not on insulin. I lost, by diet 140 lbs. I would like to rid myself of diabetes before I check out of this life. What is the cost of stem cell implant?

I am a 53 year old woman. I would be very interested in trying stem cell to cure my type 2 diabetes. I am in good health otherwise, came down with type 2 around 8 yrs ago. I was not overweight, disease does not run in my family ??????????? Look forward to your response. Thank you, Karen
