I am a U.S. citizen of Indian origin, who was diagnosed with intra ductal breast cancer on one side, at age 37,17 years ago,and am doing fine.In the U.S. thanks to mammography and early detection, cancers are detected at an early stage.Indian women too should get themselves screened,at younger ages.I had no family history,as I pointed out. Here, the standard treatment for breast cancer after surgery,is chemo therapy and tamoxifen, which is usually prescribed, esp. if you haven't had chemo treatments.Follow up mammograms and m.r.i.'s are an absolute must here!

Friends, my mother is suffering from brest cancer. She has already gone passed 2 sessions of Chemo therapy, each having 6 cycles . The doctor said, she needs the third session now with 8 cycles. I am in great trouble. Earlier chemo sessions has made her very weak and she is no position to take the third one but the doctor says that she has to take it. Doctor after conducting the test said that the cancer cell were spreading in the body. I am confused, depressed and helpless. Please help me, some one. Please somebody. please...

Friends, my mother in india is also suffering from breast cancer with no history of breast cancer what so ever. She is now going through 2nd session of chemo but that has made her very weak. Someone suggested to go for ayurvedic medicines. There is a Dr. in india (jaipur) who has cured lot of cancer patients even i spoke to one so asked my mom to go fot it. I am confused and hopeful too. I don't know whats gonna happen but hoping for her to get better.

Trust that the natural and ayurvedic medicines will help. There is a theory going around about dairy products and its relation to cancer. So a change in diet should help. Also, the emotional aspect of it cannot be overlooked. Cancer usually originates from a deep pain or sorrow that has not been overcomed.
