hi, i am physically handicapped.i am 25 yrs old now. i was affected when i was four & half years old. i'm affected below abdomen both legs. is there any hope in stem cell treatment for my case,presently i'm walking with callipers & scrutches. thankyou

Hi, i'm mostafa kamal from egypt and i suffer from optic nerve atrophy, around 70% and ritinitis pigmentosa which was attributed to consanguinity. i can seen light. i wanna know if i can have stem cell treatment. and how to get it?

my son met with an accident and lost his vision in one eye in 2001.doc says his optic nerve is damaged.at present he is 17 years old.can you tell me any treatment is possible and where?what about stem cell treatment?pl help me.thank you

hii...myslf dr amit ..doing my ms in ent at pgi chandigarh...our deptt here..is goin to do stem cell implant in optic nerve injury...results r encouraging..so if u want u can come here...its for d first time in world...u r all welcome

I would like to know more details of how vision can be improved for my daughter whose right eye has a vision of only 6/60. She had undergone cryo and laser surgeries at the age of 5 for macular degeneration and angioma. The optic nerve is presently atrophied. There is a small scar tissue in the retina. She is now 15 years of age. If there is any scope for further improvement in sight with stem cells please inform. What kind of stem cells ae being experimented at chandigarh? Embryonic or umbilical cord type?
