We, in Malaysia have a nutritional supplement, that has been registered with the Ministry of Health as a food supplement, which is able to arrest the progression of dengue and prevent the extensive organ damage that can occur with dengue haemorhagic fever. This formulation works almost immediately and platelet count changes can be seen as fast as within 24 hours. Continuance of the supplement offers protection against a re attack. The product works equally well with chikunkunya and other viral infections. It is totally non toxic and patient compliance is not a problem. It is a spice, cereal based formula with a wide spectrum of use.
