Corneal Ulcer

A corneal ulcer is an open sore in the cornea; and tissue loss because of inflammation produces an ulcer. The ulcer can either be located in the centre of the cornea and greatly affect vision or be placed in the periphery and not affect it so much.

CAN CORNEAL ULCER RESULTS IN PERMANENT BLINDNESS

yes, because post healing if it leaves a scar the eye is blind

i have been suffering from corneal ulcer from last 5 days, eyes have been tremendously red with multiple ulcers surrounding pupil, pain on inner side. kindly suggest immediate treatment
