Blood Group

The ABO blood group system was discovered by Karl Land Steiner in 1901. This system has classified blood into different types, based on the red blood cells (erythrocytes) and the proteins on their surface. Of the various types of red blood cell antigens - the ABO and rhesus types are the most important.

Blood group calculator
almindia 1 Post Hi everyone, I have just been using the blood group calculator and I believe that it is incorrect regarding the Rh factor when both parents are Rh +ve. If both parents are Rh +ve I believe that it is possible to have a child that is either Rh +ve or Rh -ve. The calculator gives a result of only Rh +ve. Please let me know what you think about this. While testing the Rh factor in a blood calculator it may show either Rh+ or Rh negative result. You say both the parents are Rh+ then I hope there is more possibility for the child to be a Rh+.
