Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a defect in vision caused by an irregularly shaped cornea or lens. Astigmatism blurs vision at all distances. Slight astigmatism is common and does not need to be corrected, but extreme astigmatism can cause headaches and blurred vision, and might need to be corrected by glasses, contact lens, or surgery.
