Yes, Ayurveda is very good and one can do Hand Mudra and Sujok Accupressure along with that for Asthma. I am sure one can get benefit by adopting alternative therapies also. For asthma it is better to avoid having sour foods to the best of my knowledge, However eating amla for Vitamin C helps.

In my opinion ayurveda is good for asthma patient. Modern allopathic medicine cannot guarantee complete cure for asthama.They try to cure the symptoms of astma. Ayurveda tries to cure the root cause of asthma which differs according to the patients. It is not only the complete cure that favors ayurveda but also the lack of any side effects.
