Alzheimer’s Disease affects the brain’s tissues and gradually destroys an individual’s ability to reason, remember, imagine and learn. It is marked by abnormal plaques and neurofibrillary tangles of brain cells.

It's great that there are mobile centers like this. It brings health care closer to patients.

Hello all From an outsider's perspective [I am from Western Australia] this seems such a positive initiative. Can someone please advise the number of people with a diagnosis of dementia in India, and what proportion of the Indian population that translates to? How many dementia sufferers and families is this initiative planned to assist? Thank you so much - regards and best wishes Wayne
