I think there is alternative medicines in Ayurveda. If you search google for 'Aurvedic treatment for Myelofibrosis' there is one successful treatment report in that.

My husband, age 65, was diagnosed on April 1 with AML. He is in a clinical trial with Voroloxin. His white count is coming back, but his lungs are not doing well. He can't breathe! He was in ICU for two weeks and intubated for 9 days. He's experienced the ICU psychosis with delirium. He's at the Medical University of South Carolina. Any success stories out there for age 65?

If one of the parents have AML, will this be passed on to generations? Is there a way to test if the children have inherited AML?
