For the 2nd time this year, an egg recall has been ordered. An Ohio egg farm is implicated in this recall. Cal-Maine foods is the supplier for these eggs. I feel wary about these egg recalls as probably most other people. Especially with this holiday baking and cooking season coming up. I have recently looked into pasteurized eggs. They seem to be a great alternative to this egg recall problem. I have a read up a little on them and according to the company they go through a special natural process that eliminates bacteria and any risk of getting salmonella. They also had a recent sale at my local grocery store and I picked up a few dozens. I am going to use them this holiday season. Hopefully, I will be able to enjoy cookie dough, and deviled eggs, without worrying about any of my family or friends getting sick.
