According to your height the ideal weight should be around 68 to 72 kgs.
From the data provided you seem to be about 25 kilograms overweight.
Yes you should be consuming a 1200 caloric diet comprising majorly of dals, soya and soya products, fat free milk, curds, veggies, soups, fruits.
Avoid fried foods, sweets, bakery foods and choose fibre and protein rich foods like whole grains, dals, beans, millets.
Refrain from eating out and eat a small portion in each meal. Divide your day into 5 to 6 meals. simple sugars and ghee, oil, butter should be completely restricted.
Try to Gym 6 days a week. concentrate more on cardio.
You should be able to loose 2 to 3.5 kgs easily in a month provided all other medical parameters are sound. Remember it is important lose fat and not just weight.
