For weight reduction you should be working on mainly two aspects:
1. Healthy diet
Focus on consuming whole grain and fibre rich foods over fried, processed foods, breads, buns and sugar laden foods, beverages. Eat small healthy frequent meals every three hours. Skim milk, skim curds, nuts, fruits, salads, soups, sprouts, oats,roasted channa paanuts, dal with roti/ brown rice are some great options.
2. A good 45 minutes vigorous exercise regime will eventually help to reduce weight in a healthy manner.
