Husbands sinus issues

Since the beginning of Dec last year, he's had a tension like headache around his forehead, behind his eyes, cheeks and side of head.
I finally got him to see his gp after weeks of him complaining, and grinding my down. His nose is really inflamed, and the gp gave him a course of amoxicillan (7 days).
He's had ample time since to book another appointment, but hasn't and keeps going on about thinking he has a brain tumour. He's been to see the optician, and has been tol d he has bad eyes, and needs reading/driving glasses. Trouble is, he didn't tell them that he thinks he may need more general glasses. Optician didn't see anything worrying or that would indicate further gp visits.
I'm at the point where I have told him we're going to a&e and we'll get to the bottom of this as it's threatening our marriage. I'm very unhappy, and can't cope with this person who seems to have replaced my husband.
We have no sex life, that went out months ago, he's obviously depressed, but won't see the gp about it, hates his job, but doesn't do anything about that either.
I'm suffering with my own stress related problems, my mum who I haven't seen in 20+ years has just come back in my life, she suffers bi-polar, and is drinking despite being on medication, and has been battered by her current husband.
I just can't cope with anymore stress. :(
Help :(
