My brother was dignosed with IPF on 12/22/07 and he is very worried. Now I see where you have treatment to stop the progression of this desease, is this true. We do not need any false hopes in seeking help for him...we only hope to find something that will work...Can You help?

My mom died of IPF and did not a have a fighting chance in surviving. Doctors used her aa a guinny pig in diagnosing her issues concluding that she had a blacksmith disease said one doctor while others were saying she suffered from smoking . My mom never smoked , however was victim of second hand smoke. What is the real deal here - or we still guessing?
Did she die from TB conplications Via Lungs.

I was diagnosed with IPF in 2005 and should be dead by now? it now 2011 going 2012 am I lucky or has it stopped on its own? your advice would be appreciated.
