Four government insurance companies which handles India's 80% of health insurance business have reduced their their network of cashless hospitals from 400 to just 90.
This includes major Ivy league hospitals from across the country. The reason for this is because of cashless facilities hospitals charge the patients more than what is required to be charged and even the patients don't mind it, which ultimately results in heavy loss for the insurance companies.
so next when you have a claim just check out if your hospital is included in cashless network or not.
