I have such a high sensitivity to cigarette smoke that I can smell it from very far away while I am in my enclosed home! I can tell when it is first lit and when the first drag is taken. It feels like I am being poisoned at that very moment!
The smell is unbearable like nothing I can compare it to. It immediately goes to my brain, my lungs, my nose, my mouth.
It feels like it is squeezing my brain somehow ... hurting it and I then feel nauseated within that second, I have a hard time breathing, and I can taste it on my tongue.
I know it sounds unreal but it is absolutely the truth. I would love to be in a double-blind study. I smell it but nobody else can. It is so strange. That is how poisoneous the substance is!
