Hello,
As part of World Environment [WE], can we have this initiative in your localities to celebrate this Diwali ‘2010 without crackers?
Our present condition of high pollution in the city will further deteriorate during this festival season because of highly polluting crackers.
Being responsible citizens, join hands with any environmental groups to prevent from bursting crackers in the city and celebrate "HAPPY DIWALI WITHOUT CRAKERS". Kindly restrain from purchasing / bursting crackers which amount to environmental degradation like air, water, land and ground water pollution causing accidents [burns and loss of sight, deaths], health hazards, and inconvenience to asthma patients, infants, pregnant women and senior citizens.
Like minded individuals can spread this message in and around your locality. They can add their suggestions to avoid the ‘Environmental Degradation’ due to bursting of crackers and help us to keep sustenance of our good environs and resources.
Read and forward this mail among your family and friends. LIVE and LET LIVE...... LET US SAVE GOOD ENVIRONS TO OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS!
Regards
Kumar K S
