Interesting and valuable work, congrats to all involved. This reminds me of the work E.V. Gostjeva did in her paper on bell shaped nuclei , she compared colon cancer stem cells vs fetal colon stem cells and found them to be making the same several cell types and occasionally a copy of themselves. She used an interesting imaging method too. Both appeared to be engaged in the behavior of a stem cell in the process of making a new colon.
