A mission by Iskcon devotees to help clean the river Ganga, held sacred by Hindus but is highly polluted today is welcome and other devotees should join them. However the government has budgeted a much higher amount of Rs. 10000 crore for this project. This seems to be a wastage of money for a poor country like India. It is suggested that the members and relatives of this Government organization should declare their property before starting the necessary work.
