My wife just had a CT scan today as a followup to a CT scan in November 09, to check her lungs following a thyroid operation. The results showed nothing unusual in November and today was a recheck. The doctor tried to set her up for another in 6 months. I said due to trying to pay last years medical bills, can we hold off anymore this year? He ssid Ok, we can wait a year. We researched CT scan cancer and felt there should be NO more unless symptoms or blood work warrant.
