This guy is a quack from the rural south in U.S. (kind of like Bihar - no offfense to Biharis). He has minimal research experience with almost no grant funding. He's mostly an administrator.

With so many legitimate researchers, we should look at the data not this guy's 'views'. This is still an unusual infection by all accounts and has almost no practical relevence in Indian practice! One shouldn't look for zebras when there are horses commonly identifiable - bad practice.
