I was started on methotrexate in April, after my RA diagnosis. It didn't seem to help, but had some nasty side effects. I begin Remicade infusions in June - along with the methotrexate. After a recent Emergency Room visit, I was told to stop taking methotrexate. CT scans show major lung damage and swollen lymph nodes. My lung capacity was measured at 40%.
