A Singur like incident is emerging in India's Science and Technology endeavors and a strong debate on investments on low yielding activities like stem cell research, genomics, proteomics, etc must be encouraged.
Unnecessary experimentation must be curbed and discrimination must be made between 'palmistry' and 'genomics'.
