I see you have outlined how to fix the problem, but my question is why was there a 'sharp drop' in the wildlife? Nature lovers are not going to be hunters, why are they dissappearing? Are they merely moving to new territory? Or are you suggesting that these wild animals are no longer producing young because of human traffic? What is the direct impact on these species?
