Yes. There is a lot of truth in this research. Most humans "think" with their 2nd "brain" the stomach and react from that butterfly feeling and are blind by rationality when in love. We don´t analyse we react via biological instinct to a compliment or kindness or even a smell of the opposite sex, not always attractiveness. This is secondary.All 5 senses are displayed here (even our 6th sense may play a role). But the truth is we also often rely on our past experiences to form our judgments (maybe the man or woman reminds us of someone we love, a mother, father, past lover etc).
