I cannot undestand - how Doctor Persaud could practice as a Psychiatrist and allowed to get such a high medical, academic amd media position for the public? If this Doctor does has not recognise - what is logically, legally and ethically wrong and what is right in his work?

How can he say that plagiarism i.e. copying someone's academic work/ideas and repeatedly publishing as his own in his book and articles and gaining his academic reputation and financial benefit - is not dishonesty.

There is a doubt - whether this Doctor knows what is - honesty and what is - dishonsty ?

If - he admited plagiarism - and denies dishonesty.

Despite that every logically thinking lay person knows that plagiarism is a wrong doing/ stilling which is dishonesty.
So - how this Psychiatrist, who suppose to be tought to undestand Logic, Medical Ethics and Medical Law - did not comply in his own life and in his academic and professional work with these logical, ethical and legal principles and rules?

I wonder - how this Doctor Psychiatist could practice in Psychiatry? How could he treat his vulnerable patients? How could he give them proper and right advises? If he cannot recognise - what is right/ honest and what is wrong/ dishonest?

My conclusion:
Fortunately, this particular dishonesty of Doctor Persaud is not harmful to any of his patients - which should be taken into consideration in making a decion by the GMC.

However, there is a real legal and ethical scandal with investigation by the GMC the seriously harmed and powerless patients' very strong Complaints.
As the GMC very dishonest, strongly corrupted and violating the GMC own investigation procedures legal regulations - academically uneducated, illiterate in Law, Logic and Ethics officers and managers, proved keep categorically refusing to investigate very strong Complaints of the patients serously harmed, brutally robbed from money and fraudulently deprived from the desperately needed operations, treatment and care. And keep intentionally fradulently protecting from liability to them the extrmely dishonst, professionally incompetent in basic Medicine ignorants. The greedy of money crooks and danger to their vulnerable patients - mentally perverted Shipman-type criminal offenders. Which is absolutely intolerable by the Law scandal! Elizabeth
