Strange that these women who seek an inclusive church that honours human rights are treated as criminals and excommunicated but the pedophile priests and those Bishops who protected them remain members in good standing of this institution. I am sure Jesus repudiates such hypocrisy. And the edict came down on the 577th anniversary of Joan d'Arc being burned at the stake by, none other than church bishops & cohorts. It only took another 489 years for her to be canonized. These brave women who obey the Holy Spirit rather than the Pope will be honoured one day for their prophetic witnessing.

As a young Catholic, I am glad the Pope finally and strongly issued new rulings which are boldly definitive. There are no questions left, or room for debate. Both the bishop who ordains, and the woman/women "ordained" priests will be excommunicated immediatly. This is great news for faithful Catholics, but bad news for the liberals and dissidents.
Maybe they would like to start their own Church, called "WomanChurch".
