Its very sad to read these kind of realities. Unless the Government come forward and take measures to help this community and also by preventing the children from sexual abuse, this will not stop. Unfortunately People in the government are not even concerned.

I, being a lawyer feel depressed at these things that are going on in a country like India. I cannot even imagine that parents who should be educating their girls are spoiling their careers by using them for prostitution. Poverty is understandable but it is illegal and wrong to pressurize and use young girls for the sex trade. It is a great shame for our community and country.

Is this the greatest democracy if the world? please take a travel to India and see yourself among the plenty of beggars, see that even cows in this country have better life than a human.
unfortunately, in western countries people no nothing real about India, the imagine that India is democratized nation, with ancient culture, nice cities, Taj Mahal, etc. but the fact is in poor people who live is the suburbs of Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta,..

Every Country has its Good and Bad face. Some things are Good and many to be still put in corect order. The communities mentioned in this article are small in number but the problem is sufficiently large. India still counts the opinion of its people. Indian is developing beyond Delhi and Mumbai, but this large democracy will take its time and sweat to turn its bad things to better. I am not trying to defend the bad things, but this nation has lots of good things instored which can be felt only by living here.
