I am the Business Development Manager for the ISRM the above comments are completely out of context and amount to media sensationalism. The ISRM has not banned Armbands and our guidelines have been in place since 2003, we have simply issued guidance to ensure the safety of children including ensuring the armbands fit, are clean and functional, if a child dies as a result of not following guidelines will this also be sensational?
